Its always made sense. There’s no simultaneous release after all

If pc players want to play PlayStation games they gotta wait 2-3 years
So having the option to play a game at release on PC doesn't make sense for a brand but having it later on makes sense?

The only reason that makes sense is if you trying to double dip :sas1:

And based on these nintendo threads it's clear yall don't like these companies releasing games later on at full or close to full retail price with slight graphical upgrades.

For a long time, "I'll just get it on PC" when it came to xbox and there plans, and yall swore up and down it was pointless to get a xbox... Sounds like to me it makes the most sense for PC players to have gamepass to play there games on there PC:jbhmm:

You have the weakest arguments on here lol

Yes, nintendo releasing the same games on nintendo for full price. This is a backwards compatibility issue first and foremost and then the issue of porting extremely old games on top of it for full price is what makes it frustrating. A game being ported to an entirely different platform is different (ori to nintendo for example). It’s not sony pricing the same games for the same systems at the same price like nintendo is doing.,

Simultaneous release :hula:3 year port of a console release

If you don’t want the games bad enough to buy them within two years then it doesn’t really matter either way I’m guessing. How many people were waiting patiently for days gone or death stranding? It’s gonna be a fraction of consumers buying it or double dipping on pc, but it’s a nice supplement to console exclusive sales.

Besides, the way gamepass is going you wont need a pc or a xbox soon.

I also bet insomniac, naughty dog, and Santa Monica games don’t end up on pc. These will be the games that do 1mil-3mil in sales

Expect the last guardian or shadow of the colossus and dreams next

When it was Halo and Gears it was "Why own an xbox ?"
now it's "Well I mean, it makes sense yah know ?"

Yes, when all your AAA games release simultaneously on pc with the same subscription service it kind of defeats the purpose. The other option is If you want to be a good lil pc player and patiently wait for sony clause to deliver real piff to your doorstep, you may get it within a couple of years

I’m all for this the more Playstation games on PC the better. With Sony selling the PS5 at a lost expanding their software and services to PC is a nice chunk of change in profitability. Plus game production costs significantly increasing each gen they can’t sustain without expanding. Microsoft started early on this.
