i didn't really like the first one too much.. i went in expecting an action movie..
but this..
I liked the first one based on the fact that it surprised me with a decent origin story. I went in expecting a shytty retelling. It had its share of problems but Caesar wasn't one of them. Glad they aren't bringing Franco back. He was one my problems. Gary Oldman getting his Commissioner on.
Even still....that would leave over 3 billion humans. I don't think there's that many apes in the world. But slim said they've spent years fighting apes & humans, so if that's another half - then that still leaves 1.5 billion humans.
I still want to see this film though, the first one was thorough
1.5 billion humans devastated by loss on an incredible scale that then turned to infighting. There would be more consequences to that many people dying then just leaving behind a bunch of other people. It would bring about a dramatic change in the way they things are. It would take more than a few years to recover.
And @Orbital-Fetus that would actually make sense in the early days when the apes start taking human captives before they see them as less than and too ugly to even think about.
