Jalen's everything you want in a QB as far as leadership, work ethic, commitment, athleticism, playmaking ability, etc (which is why it's no surprise Lurie loves him) but yesterday was the kind of day that makes an owner and GM look in the mirror like "Is the goal to be a fringe playoff team or to compete for #1 seeds ?" and you can't do that without a passing game that can come from behind.

I hope Hurts takes that next step as a passer in year three but if he doesn't the writing's on the wall.

Agree 1000%- I think we all were hoping he had progressed enough to have a good game vs a good team, but we saw that the progression he had was minimal and if this is what he is- he is not the long term answer

Player development is not always linear and predictable. the same ppl saying "get rid of hurts now" did y'all have that same energy for Josh Allen after his second year when he was missing guys, the bills were a fringe playoff team, and he had 5 more starts than hurts at the same stage?

Hurts earned his keep for another year. Unless Russell Wilson is walking through that door, the eagles should hold pat.

Hurts is mediocre as a passing QB. Reminds me of tebow. He'll be a backup in a year or two

Smith will be a great receiver in the NFL but it's ok if he's not as good as Chase is either. Though i do agree that his numbers would be markedly better with another QB and/or scheme.

Burrow and Chase’s ascension came at the same time the only difference is Burrow was draft eligible

Tee Higgins was bout to be an 1000 yd receiver last year prior to Burrow’s injury, Tyler Boyd has had multiple seasons over 1000 yards
