He’s not better than Chase, no matter what QB is out there. :heh:

But he was better than his stats show, and his stats are already pretty good for a rookie. He fell just 84 yards short of 1,000 yards. The only rookies who outproduced him (Chase, Pitts, Waddle) were all drafted higher. Plus, they all got more targets than he did.

But even more than Hurts, what limited him was the general offensive scheme. The Eagles ran the most run-heavy offense in the NFL and Devonta Smith was used primarily as a downfield threat. In the first eight weeks of the season, when Sirianni was still calling a pass-first offense, Smith was on pace to break 1,000 yards, even with Hurts throwing him the football.

Whatever, Smith is still good. Best Eagles rookie receiver since DJax.

Nobody ever said he was better than Chase but he definitely in same class and his hands better. Put Smith on the on the Bengals see what happen. Put chase on the Eagles :russ: that man would quit on the season. The fact smith almost got 1000 yards in that offense tell you what type of player he is

Hurts is solid and deserves another year

Smith will be fine, yall spoiled with Jefferson and chase. Not every wr is immediately a stud.

Qbs take time, hurts has like 20 games In and obvious skills

They were supposed to beat the tom Brady led bucs????:stopitslime:

yall really want Gardner minshew in there huh:mjpls:

Herbert is solid
Burrow is solid
Hurts is not solid.

No one said he had to win but when u out there looking like Joe Webb 2.0, something is wrong. The nikka cant throw.

Cap. All Hurts would have to do is throw it anywhere close to Chase. They ain’t throwing jump balls to Smith cuz he ain’t on Ja Marr’s level.

Boy ya squad so trash Eli Ricks said fukk it im going to the opps. Worry bout them Lsu kittens.

The Eagles beat the bottom of the barrel teams on their schedule (as they should have) and lost to every playoff team & only had 1 win against a team over .500 (Saints with Trevor Simien at QB). Hurts has a ceiling to his game. I don't know if it's his vision or his arm strength, but he is not hitting the throws fast enough. You can't get away with that in the NFL against good teams. I think it's the same reason Saban ultimately went with Tua.
