The question is you got opportunity in your own country and you’re making luxury shyt in a foreign nation. It’s suspect and not helping out your own. This is why I’m skeptical to back to Africa movements. In a way it is a different form of c00nery. It’s wild to make things for strangers and not the people that brought you up. Philly doesn’t have a market for luxury hotels so instead of helping Philly which is full of black people, they’re over there doing this for strangers. It’s baffling. I’ve seen black folks travel to Ghana and build libraries for them and parade it on social media when black kids in America are struggling to read.

Focusing on Africa when our own people are suffering is abject foolishness. I give African nations kudos and absolutely celebrate cooperated effort but when black Americans put a lot of focus on building Africa up when your momma, poppa, grandma, granddaddy all the way down to the ancestors before the civil war settled and struggled on this land I pause. Making luxury hotels and wanting a pat on the fukking back when the people in the neighborhood you were raised in are probably struggling. It’s c00nery and putting Africanism on a pedestal.

We stopped being Africans hundreds of years ago. You take care of home first.

If you wanna go to Africa, I say you GO THERE. And leave us in peace! The rest of us will strive. The rest of us will fight. The rest of us will wipe the bloodied mud off our boots and keep marching eyes on the prize, with our lips to the horizon. You go to Africa and build and you stay there! How's that?!

If black capitalists want to go make money, they can go anywhere on the globe to do so.

Why do dummies insist that doing so in Africa is a feed the community project and not a money making venture?

Chinese come here, build and make money that they bring back to their communities. It not a charitable project to help Africans. But when a Black American does, suddenly you turn it to a sally struthers event rather than make money that they bring back to their communities. :camby:

Yes people have opinions about trying to perpetrate as the new colonizers.

Sorry everyone isn't as impressed as you are and that hurts your feelings.

You'll be alright.

Money is your God.

Taking advantage of a struggling nation for money on the cusp of political collapse.

You and your friends are pigs and leeches. No one here cares about the "money to be made" in a struggling nation. You're a colonizer.

Hurt my feelings? Impressed?

Now you dont want African Americans to make money in Africa, concerned that they will colonize Africans.

Now the well being of Africans from being colonized is your concern

Now you care about Africans.

Make up your fukking mind. Either you want to see African Americans to do well, or you are playing captain save an African from Black American colonizers.

In one hand they are pigs and in the other, they should look at African American struggle charity cases.

Damned if they do, damned if they dont.

What we are dealing with in this thread are idiots.

One thing about the Black American “colonizers” here, they dont mistreat Africans compared to the other groups, but this idiot knows then so well.

fukk outta here with this cobbled together bowl of dumb shyt. Its damn senseless

Here's my take....it's a business they're not running a charity over there. Money can be made anywhere in the world even in poor nations. Yes you can make millions and billions in Nigeria. You clearly don't understand this. If you fulfill a need or opportunity you can make money anywhere in the world and there's a case to make money in Africa because guess what it's underdeveloped, it's cheap and yes sadly it's also corrupt so you have less red tape. I can't recoup my investment in Philly, you might need $100 million to build a hotel there. But in Nigeria I might build it for 10th of the cost and at a faster space.

Now yes there are some Americans that go to run charities but even those folks are in it for their bottom line because at the end of the day if you don't put food on your own table you can't put food on someone else's.
I agree. I ain’t mad at someone making an investment and getting a return

Nothing wrong with investing in Africa but the premise of this thread is the thought of fleeing to Africa and making it our new homeland.

Bruh….dont pivot back now. You turned a group of Black men investing in Africa into a women led “come back to Africa” Wakanda wellness. AND you stood on that dumb shyt.

Black Americans can make money here too just as any other foreigner. I’d prefer it because they carry a healthier dose of respect for the people here than all these other foreigners who come here. But to sit there and turn successful African American business ventures in Africa into an “at the expense of struggling Black American communities” is trash and you clowns USING the struggle of those Black American communities to win some points on the Internet is even worse. :camby:

Yall dumb as fukk in here.
