How is it I can read the stories of African American families who fled the south and their reasons why and see the similarities to that of those seeking asylum from a war torn country?
My mother in law lost two uncles in one day to the klan. That made her run up north.

Also the ACS tried to move all Aframs to Liberia (and maybe Sierra Leone). But the Aframs at the time refused. Given the state of Liberia today, I don't see their decision as a bad one.

Black American situation is completely different than people in these other countries. As bad as america has treated black americans, it is still a nation of laws. Where ots possible to receive relief at some level. If the neighborhood corrupt and racist, you can go to city. If city corrupt you can go to State. And if State corrupt you can get federal help.
These other countries do NOT have this! When there's corruption it's coming from the very top. Plus there can be genocide involved, where they can knock large parts of an entire town off. Yeah we've had incidents here in America like Tulsa, but not on the regular like these other countries.
