My bad - I didn’t see any quotation marks or anything where you acknowledged that.
The fact that you said, "Isaiah actually said this chit to TV reporters in real time, which is one reason Larry didn’t like him" makes it clear you knew I was repeating what Isiah said or else your post wouldnt make sense

Damn they really pushing that storyline as far as possible during quarantine.

Zeke won two championships, they played dirty to win. I'd rather be known as a 2 time NBA champion and 2 times finals mvp, than a part of a dream team. Pistons were never going to win multiple championships with a finesse style of play.

The fact that you didn’t have what he said in quotes or say it was a quote made me think
you just a young’n saying your opinion whilst not knowing Isaiah thought the same thing.

They played hard. Celtics and Lakers were physical too. Pistons had to out-tough them to beat them.

Isiah don't even care about that sh*t.

I think he takes pride in the fact that they hated him so much, they kept him off the Dream Team. :youngsabo:

His methods were that effective.

Ok so lets say i have no disagreement with your points.

The FACT is that Isaiah beat THREE of the very same legends that made that team. In which case I still don’t see a VALID argument for leaving Isaiah off the Dream Team. It was a snub plain and simple. Isaiah’s credentials speak for themselves. If he “only” did what he was supposed to do then thats enough in itself to get him on the team. ESPECIALLY over Stockton.
As has been said multiple times, Isiahs exclusion from the Dream Team had NOTHING to do with his talent. Several of those dudes including both MJ's didn't want to play with him. And I would take Isiah over Stockton too, but lets not act like Stockton is some kind of average player. Yes Isiah was a significantly better scorer (although Stockton had a better outside shot). But people seem to forget, its 2020, Stockton hasn't played in like 2 decades and he is STILL the all-time leader in assists. The next closest player is Jason Kidd and he is over 3,000 assists away! Now on the Dream Team, did you need ANOTHER scorer, or a distributor to get the ball to all those weapons when Magic was on the bench?

Isiah was a distributor too. People forget that. :manny:

No they didn't.. They learned from the best, which were the Boston Celtics... no one ever said they played dirty....... then that traitor Pat Riley went to NY and created fax simile of Bad Boys era ball, and nobody said shyt..... stop falling for these ofay storylines
