David Lee being hurt at the start of last season changed NBA history.

Looking at it now it seems like Draymond starting was a forgone conclusion, but that's not the case, if it weren't for Lee getting hurt he would have been the Warriors PF at the start of last season. Lee got hurt in the Warriors last preseason game, up until that point he was going to be the starter for the Warriors, there was very little talk of Dray starting over him and he was supposed to come back after a few days but missed a full month and by then it was too late.

It's honestly crazy that this dude got hurt in the final preseason game, and it basically changed everything for the league, if they stay healthy this Warriors team has the potential to be an all-time team, If Lee doesn't get hurt Dray probably signs in Detroit and the Warriors shyt never really gets started, hell the Rockets may have been in the finals vs the Cavs and Bron gets 3, and none of that happens because Lee gets hurt in a meaningless preseason game.

People always bringing up Mark Jackson when it comes to the Warriors as if the guy was at all a good coach.

He was a poor man's doc rivers and not because they were both black, but because they both rely on "motivating players" and "speeches" to coach opposed to actual good X's and O's and good rotations.

You mean like thinking there would be zero difference if Jackson was still the same coach? That's pretty simple minded if you ask me.

Kerr had around him one of the best coaching staffs in the league with absolutely great assistants(Gentry for offense and Thibs former lead defensive assistant), Jackson alienated his assistant coaches and had feuds with his players. That shyt is ridiculous.

Malta.....crazy shyt like this happens all the time in sports. Trent Edwards doesn't get his knee blown out in preseason Kurt Warner never starts...the Rams never go to multiple Superbowls and Warner never takes the cardinals to the Superbowl. Faulk may never even win the MVP because the team probably isn't as explosive.

Iggy hit some big time threes that series that kept the killed Cavs momentum. I say big because Iggy wasn't known for his 3 pt threat. Livingston played well too in stretches.

Bottom line, they kept Cavs from making any run by continuously scoring. Draymond got way better but there bench is deeeeeep.
