Yeah, I think dude blew out his kidneys trying to finish a 100 mile race. I don’t know if this is accurate but if it is, he’s overboard with this physical tough man approach

He's pushed his body into all kinds of medically dangerous situations such as rhabdomylosis, (muscles breakdown and release myoglobin into the bloodstream). That doesn't make you tough, that makes you stupid.

Goggins deployed. Look on Leif Babin’s IG and there’s a pic of his platoon deployed. Power lifter Goggins is on that joint standing off from them cacs lol.

SEALs are hard dudes but times are much different than the early GWOT era frogs and the current frogs.

Andy Stumpf said he went back to his command and chatted with the new guys and only 17% all guys in the vanilla teams are deploying nowadays.

You have current SEALs with no deployments going for 1811 positions and only getting GS7. While you have Army officers getting GS9 because of the leadership experience.

CAG, RRC, ISA, DEVGRU, and the 24 are always going to be deployed but times are different for MARSOC, the vanilla teams, and SOF in general.

Granted, I think the green beanies are always in some remote village doing some shyt.

Surely most people's brains are not trash enough to think "some people hate this guy, some people like this guy, so that tells me he's doing something right" is some insightful analysis of anything. It's idiotic. "Some people like him/her, some people don't like him/her" can be applied to literally every public figure. Yet interestingly the people who make this argument tend to exclusively use it in favor of right wing or conspiracy bros. Funny how that works. And it's always this deceptive, underhanded shyt. "Oh I'm not familiar with that person but some people like him and some people hate him and I like what he has to say." So you admit you like him but want to semi pretend you aren't an extremist, thanks for clearing that up.

If you can't listen to 5-10min of Andrew Tate and recognize he's full of shyt and stupid, I can't value your opinion. That's not even a purely political statement because Tate's ideology flies in the face of traditional "conservative" values. From marriage to fatherhood to women.

He totally used his title as a Navy SEAL to sell his shyt. What a hypocrite
You have no idea what you are talking about. Just to give you a heads up, he use to recruit during the tail end of his career. That's where the motivation and workout vids started. He was doing that with young people.

Goggins received a lot of hate over the years. I rather listen to someone like him telling people how to improve themselves versus the other special ops guys selling themselves to the NRA.

Word.....they been ramping up deployments since atleast 2012...

We came back from deployment went on leave and they told us we're going on another 9month deployment in 3months :bryan:

I Didn't mind..sailors belong at sea and we put in work on the flight deck..I am proud.
I remember when the war popped off ,their would be 2 carrier groups in the gulf at the same time. Ships doing 10 or 11 month deployments . ☠️.. God bless all the airdales, those flight decks are no joke on deployment

You gotta have the right balance. Work hard and play hard. I read David Goggins book and it seems like that balance is missing in him. I'm all about "pushing your limits" but he comes across as chronically self depreciating.
All his limit breaking bravo sounds like its coming from a place of self hatred or disgust. Especially given his upbringing. He isn't happy unless he's miserable but his brand of misery is channeled into bragging rights on mental toughness.

And I largely agree and mostly have the same self standards as him.

I agree. There’s a difference between pushing your body out of comfort vs injuring yourself. I think he still sees himself as that fat guy. And he hates that about his life.

I remember when CT Fletcher was really popular years ago and my cousin injured himself taking his advice and “commanding your muscles to grow”. Lol. The inspiration business is good but you still have a responsibility to be realistic with your followers.

I remember CT Fletcher use to get mad when cats tried to correct his form.

He just said the guys who are in the seals should maintain seals standards not his personal standards.

What's wrong with that.

It's like being a Black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu who doesn't train

Or calling yourself a bodybuilder but you don't lift. Getting by on muscle memory and grown man's strength to impress casuals

goggins and tate both have immense self hate that manifests in "go to the gym you fat fukks" type of advice so that prolly resonates with David

How is he a hypocrite? Also, have you ever served in the military? If you have you would know that you want to take as much as can from the military as possible to the civilian world because while you're in the military, the military will use and abuse you. I'm a Army vet and a military contractor. I'd be a fool not to use my military experience to make a good living for myself.

Not only is a Navy Seal but he's also Army Ranger qualified and served as a Tactical Air Control Party (Special Warfare airman)Not many people have done all three of these. I'm not 100% but I think he is the only person that has done all three and he tried out for Delta but his ass got lost on the land navigation course and couldn't make the time up. :mjlol:

That's actually what made me take interest in him.
