This track goes hard. She lowkey sound like a female Kendrick Lamar.

But on topic, I'm Mexican and I also rap. I've never received flac for saying nikka in my verses because I don't use it maliciously.

I never use it in bad taste and never rhyme nikka with nikka. I use it moreso as a noun. To me, if you are my friend, whether black, Mexican, white, Indian, Japanese, you my nikka. My cousins my uncles those are my nikkas.

But I don't feel like using it anymore if people really get mad that half black people say it. Like damn.

U should stop using that word. Regardless of your view on it. Ur gonna receive unwanted attention if you want to ever be taken seriously. I've seen it. I rapped on a decent platform. I'd advise you to step ur pen up.

I rapped in east saint Louis night club and I've rapped in front of a bunch of bloods in Compton. (In front of predominately black crowds) and they gave me props after my performances.

They never so much as flinched or felt negativity from me using the word.

But I understand your point. I just wish black peoples understood that Some of sub grew up with that word. I went to school in Compton and it was just a way to say friend.

I wish black people understood that a racist Mexican won't say nikka, or even use the word in a positive context. And they always look down on other Mexicans who say the word nikka.

To ME...

If YOU'VE been a target of disrespect by someone using the N word, then you have a pass to use it as a term of endearment.

If some ignorant bigot called you a ****** with vitriol coupled with intent to be disrespectful...Then you have the "nikka" pass IMO.

You're probably called a ****** because, to that bigot, you look like you're black....

I try to keep things simple.
"Stop acting like a ******"
"You dress like a ******"
"Turn down that ****** music"
Racist old white dudes be saying it to white kids so you might not wanna make that the deciding factor

i get u 100%. Not saying not to use the word if thats what you want to use... in your personal life. But I promise you if you are a forward thinking or moving artist, reglardless of who u perform in front of and who daps you up. It has and will always be corny to see a non-black man say nikka. They may mess with ur music, andenergy, and relate, but trust me on this....

IF you ever were to get signed, all of your old music would be pulled immediately. No one wants that PR task on them

If there are no rules and standards, how do you know someone is genuinely your friend or someone that gets a dark kick out of calling a full Black person N to their face under the pretext of friendship and being 'down' etc..
Another thing is how long it has been here..other forms of saying Hi and Bro came and went so someone must want it to not die.

He's not talking about cole

Cole basically grew up black, and has no problem criticizing white folks or using the word cracka.

Drake on the other hand grew up Jewish in Canada around white folks. And has NEVER said anything about white folks or the black struggle, yet he calms himself "the realist nikka" in all his songs. So yes his use of the word is akword and shouldn't be condoned.

But the people that listen to his music don't really care about that kinda think.

Glad someone like David banner is real enough to say it, while the rest of the industry is afraid to fukk up their features/connects

Why do you keep making blanket statements about something you admittedly don't know about?

In here talking about white supremacy, while using white supremacist tactics.:smh:
i dont need to listen to rap when the message hasnt changed in ~20 yrs. does it take "white supremacist tactics" to admit the central themes in most tracks are usually toxic, or just two ears?

That's not true. Only a person who is not part of the culture would make these claims. And you use the word nikka in a derogatory way. As far as I'm concerned clowns like you should be banned from using the word
