Lets see where this discussion leads
Somewhere stupid when in 2015 more than one hipster CAC rapper has been using the word. I'm more concerned with that.
Lets see where this discussion leads
I don't think so.
In rap, there are only two examples; there are lived experiences of killing, and there is the "metaphoric" killing of other rappers, whether lyrically, or monetarily.
There is no killing of "White supremacists" on a large scale, because that doesn't happen in real life.
If it were a real, regular thing, you would be hearing it more.
Who the hell is "we"You can't have it both ways. We want half blacks to claim their black heritage, but get mad if they refer to themselves as nikkas.
Or maybe, JUST MAYBE that isn't their chosen subject matter !over 90% of the rappers talkin bout killing nikkas has never killed shyt. it doesn't have to be about killing white people though, but how about conscious songs addressing white supremacy? is that too much to ask? or is everyone like meek mills, scared to confront the elephant in the room
Or maybe, JUST MAYBE that isn't their chosen subject matter !
I don't feel rappers HAVE to talk about "White supremacy" especially
if they truly know nothing about it or how it effects them.
And honestly "Meek Mill" as a rapper has touched on various different topics
and even if he doesn't directly address "White supremacy" dude has certainly rapped
about the effects of it.
Rapping about living in the middle of urban decay, terrible policing, violence over drugs for monetary
gain etc. are valid topics IMO and something that shouldn't be dismissed off hand because the
content may feature violence or offend people's sensibilities.
I cant be the only one tired of hearing about the EFFECTS of white supremacy. We've been hearing rappers "report" about the EFFECTS of white supremacy for 25 years now. I want to hear about SOLUTIONS and ways that we can COMBAT white supremacy now. Glorifying black on black violence, criminal behavior and drug abuse isn't helping anyone. In 2015 we need our music to educate, inspire and uplift us like it was created to do. Damn the effects, give me solutions and ways to combat.Or maybe, JUST MAYBE that isn't their chosen subject matter !

"Jews" give them contracts because their shyt is hot.you're giving these rent a nikkas way too much credit. jews give these guys contracts because they're rapping about BULLshyt. damn near every song has the same themes:
- how big and bad i am
- how imma kill nikkas
- how i sell the best drugs
- how i do the best drugs
- how i fukk the most hos, including your ho
shyt aint some type of introspective commentary of living in impoverished neighborhoods, it's just bullshyt. and the reason these nikkas scared to mention white folks, is because white folks sign their checks
yeah rappers rap, they're musicians, NOT politicians.I cant be the only one tired of hearing about the EFFECTS of white supremacy.
