Shane Strickland seems like a weird pick up for WWE. He doesn't really have the kind of buzz the majority of the indie guys that get signed to NXT has, he works a lot of places but none of the "big" indies with any regularity, I don't think he benefits from LU like the other talent since he doesn't retain the look or gimmick at all. It seems like it's been a while since they signed an indie guy that wasn't sit in the audience at Takeover tier, and I don't think Shane Strickland is one of those dudes.

Yeah I have a feeling his time in MLW is up. Never got revenge on Low-Ki for taking the title and he lost the #1 contender match with Tom Lawlor the other week where he tapped clean. He's not being promoted on their upcoming Fightland special either.
He also dropped the evolve title this past weekend.

So unless he's going to ROH under an exclusive contract, he maybe heading to full sail

Cody and Kenny's contracts with ROH and NJ are up top of 2019 so thats the big one

Not sure if they are thinking of joining despite all the recent teases from them to not do the Garden show Mania weekend but WWE is obviously making a play for them

This is the same company that just signed 36 year old Punishment Martinez though, their just in signing mode like they have been the last couple years because of the Fox money :yeshrug:

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
And Nakamura has done a at least one interview where he said his contract is up in 2019 and he's not decided on re-signing.

I mean, unless the money is crazy good with WWE, might as well go back to NJPW to make roughly the same, travel less, and likely have a more meaningful role.

I’d be okay with that

Nakamura has probably gone as far as he can in wwe

Cody has said this week that he has no interest in signing with WWE. And there was some shots thrown at WWE in the latest Being the Elite...could be more working, who knows but it doesn't feel like The Elite will be moving just yet.

It would be real interesting to see how someone like Cesaro or Rusev would do in NJPW. That's the thing with WWE stockpiling all this talent. They can sign Omega, The Bucks, Pentagon etc...but at the end of the day this is only going to reduce spots on the show for their current talent, and eventually you'll have a situation where someone like Rusev will say fukk it and take a deal from NJPW, and in their hands you could potentially have a big star.

I mean...if bum ass Cody can have a decent run in Japan, then there's a lot of guys already on the periphery in WWE who could make a good go of it. So these talent raids can help create new stars...look what happened when AJ and Nakamura left.

Chad Gable is 32 and him picking pro wrestling up so quickly and becoming good obviously means dog shyt to Vince. He has a decision coming up definitely. He can go the Cody route or accept being a catering star like Zack Ryder

He's going against Ki at the next taping. Put Swerve in my Glory with Lio and let them cook. Lee can benefit from that future Lashley rub:sas1:
