Been saying all season that Dave and GaTa’s relationship was gonna come to a head. Fantastic season finale (again), and I really hope GaTa gets an Emmy nomination, at minimum.

The intensity, realness and great acting of the argument scene with GaTa this season was the equivalent of Dave’s argument scene with Ally last year.

Ok these whole back and forth texts in this episode is VERY realistic. Don’t know how many times I’ve seen people ruin stuff just cause they think just cause they haven’t heard from someone for a bit as if they may not have anything going on. Dave sent all those paragraphs and just nuked his entire date. That “lol” was a goodbye I remember this chick that I wanted nothing to do with after a date sent me like 9 paragraphs that o didn’t even halfway read after dissing me way beforehand, and I just sent “cool” and she went absolutely ballistic that’s the most I’ve ever had my phone go off. That last messages I actually read from her were “oh so you’re ignoring me now???”, an 8 hour gap, then “hey :-)”

She bodied the maid of honor speech

I'm just catching up on this show, abd as someone whose given a few best man speeches at weddings I was like, damn, this speech is amazing. Even if it was written by show writers, the dualities of addressing a marriage and a breakup at the same time without anybody knowing what's happening except for the person your breaking up with, that was masterful. She crushed a heart and made one swell at the same time with beautiful execution.

Btw, the nikka Gata is absolutely killing this shyt. All his emotional scenes hit so hard. When he finally checked Dave on his bullshyt I felt every bit of that. And the final scene...

I wouldn’t be too surprised if this show don’t come back. Where is he supposed to go from here? His goal was to “make it” going by that finale it looks like he did. If there is another season I guess they can have more Allie and maybe dikky will spend the whole season trying to get her back

This show being equal or better than Atlanta is no longer a premise that seems far fetched to me anymore.

Can't lie brehs, I teared up when GaTa started crying (thinking it was because he was sad he lost a friend but was still supporting them from afar) but then realized it was because he finally made it and was performing with Dave.

Fantastic finale

The way that scene was shot was fukking beautiful. The play with the lighting to set it all up, the tears, then the . That shyt was so fukking dope. Somebody was definitely cutting onions around me while I was watching that.

overall tho, this show might end up getting dropped for me, too many white boy moments that just don’t hit for me as an adult black woman.

I'm not bailing, because the show is pretty damn good, but I definitely understand this sentiment. I was telling some of my boys to check out the show in our groupchat, then I had to forewarn them about all the white fratboy shyt. As I'm telling them I realize I'm fighting a losing battle and just gave up. Them nikkas was definitely gonna be coming back to the groupchat on some "Manyfaces, what kinda shyt you got me out here watching?" I didn't even feel like dealing with that in the groupchat
