Breh the dude literally did segments in his last few stand ups on that if he was a pedo who he would molest. How molested kids need to know nothing is free and how his hero might have raped women but he saved lives. And no one beats an eye.

But he said Bruce Jenner shouldn't have won women of the year. Or that white transexuals shouldn't act like their struggle is the same as black folks. All of a sudden it's a national issue and he should be cancelled.

Anyone that has followed Dave for the last 20 years knows he makes a joke about anyone and anything. Why should transgender folks be different?

The brilliance in this is that he INTENTIONALLY insulted every ethnic and protected group and gagues the audiences reaction throughout.




Whole time Dave thinking: “oh ok, so THIS isn’t too far, huh?”





Starts dipping his toes into the MeToo & LGBT community jokes after warming the crowd up, repeatedly reminding you of the fact he’s going to get more offensive, and when he finally does, it’s about the trans community, and it’s cushioned in a beautiful, poignant and hilarious story and sendoff that almost brought a real nikka to a tear.

And I meant I almost got choked up for Dave at the end, witnessing both the beauty of him weaving his message together through comedy, and knowing what he’s endured and persevered through with cancel culture, with Comedy Central and moving to Africa, losing Charlie, Paul, etc…Def was not about to shed a tear for the treh

The broken heart black man joke and the space jew joke was a perfect example. Of him warming up with short jokes that were offensive and going in deeper. He even says something like well I guess I got to go there and it gets worse.

He literally is saying it tongue and cheek. shyt was beautiful execution. I swear he is a modern day Paul Mooney and dikk Gregory. Folks need to really study them dudes and see how Dave got a lot of stuff from them. From the twisted dark humor, delayed joke, slap the microphone from Mooney. To how he smokes his cigarette and matches it with his cadence during jokes like a young dikk Gregory.

Not to mention the social, racial and political angle in his jokes that both Mooney and Gregory had.

I’m laughing harder at all these “the jokes are going over everyone’s heads” comments in this thread than I did watching this special.

Dave is funny, thoughtful, has excellent timing at pretty much all times, eloquently talks about race and prejudice better than most who have ever done it and as everyone can see, he’s an apex comedian.

He also spent a large portion of this special commenting on LGBTQ again, and all in all, I chuckled much more than I laughed. Not every special a comedian does is gonna hit. ‍

I understood all his points and meanings on the subject, but that didn’t make it entertaining and funny…..it also didnt make me mad either, it was just content I consumed and it’s fine for the special to just be fine.

Finally saw it. Couple of things the media is full of shyt.

The jokes on transexuals was light and actually there was a complete message in everything he said.

Another thing he has said in every episode that the issue was with white folks in the gay community. He literally said it like 10 times in this standup.

The reason why Dave did a long segment on this is when Daphne killed herself folks were all on social media and in the media stating Dave was the reason Daphne killed herself. Daphne death made it personal and Dave had a right to defend himself the only way he talks to the public (through comedy not the media or social media) and put folks on blast who dogged out Daphne for standing with Dave.
