The crowd was pretty dead, it's kinda embarrassing how he has to fake a laugh once in a while just to tell people that that was the joke :francis:

Dave has always done that. Go back and watch "Killing Them Softly" He hits the mic against his thigh and laughs. He just does it more now it seems.

I will say this, each of these specials suffer from the same thing most Netflix standup specials do.....lack of editing. Each one of these could stand to lose 10-12 mins off of them and they'd be much funnier.

But it is what it is.

Dave Chapelle is a thinking comedian. If you are a big fan of current rap music and in general don't like to think about the world you live in, he's not the comedian for you. I thought the two specials were great. Dave has a unique way of talking about current issues, which I always find enlightening. And his ability to intertwine humor takes it to the next level. Easily one of the best comedians of his generation.
Yeah, you gotta respect his genius. First time I heard someone admit Cosby probably raped 52 women, but still put forth a compelling argument against discrediting his achievements.

Made me realize the situation is only as simple as "Lets erase everything" If you weren't directly inspired by Cosby...

Motherfukkers been defending Polansky since the 70s, and he only directed like 4 significant films

Back to back Classic stand ups in opinion. Best shyt since Elephant in the Room to me. Saw Chappelle live several times throughout the years and heard a few of the jokes but they way he put it all together after seeing what worked or didnt is brilliant!

Im glad people are offended

Its about time a comedian broke the ice and said some politically incorrect shyt.

The LGBT shyt has to be questioned, period... Otherwise we'd just be taking a social movement for granted.

I never bought into the tranny thing, and motherfukkers always corrected me on some "we're just gonna start doing this" shyt.

Alright, Im not saying trannies are mentally unstable, but show me one example of a well adjusted tranny? There isn't one in the media:hubie:.

Social movements are supposed to be led by people, right? Who's the face of this one? Bruce "I believe marriage is between a man and a woman" Jenner?

What's a funnier/scarier premise than a man willingly chopping his dikk off? Especially if that man happens to be one of the greatest athletes ever?

You don't have to hate Transgender people to find he humor in this. They need to get over themselves.

in the crowd you could see all the all 90's babies get butt hurt when Dave started clowning on that guy in front about kids today

He was speaking the real though

When we were kids were taught to care with cartoons like care bears lol

I loved the show

I need to see the second immediately

I felt proud as hell watching my dude float through each one:wow:. I haven't kept up with his stand up so all this was fresh to me. Probably helped me enjoy it even more.

Hasn't lost a step to me.

first one was only decent. the crowd was weak but at the end of the day the material just wasn't that great. the bit about meeting those directors at the grammy's was weak. a lot of his bits seemed forced. the 2nd one was GREAT though. that was prime chapelle right there. lets see what the 3rd brings. I was anticipating the chris rock specials more though. he's always been a level above chapelle to me.
