This thread is sad as fukk, friends. I saw Dave do standup pretty much right before he went to Africa in NC. The whole audience started doing the Lil John "YEAHHH" and "WHAT?!" over and over. Dave kept stopping and asking people to chill, he's never really seemed like the type to go hard at hecklers.

But it kept going and going, and eventually Dave said, "if ya'll keep doing this, I'm out." He got through about 2-3 more minutes and someone yelled "WHATTTT?!" and he grabbed his cigs and went "peace, have a good one!"

He did about 45-50 mins. Guy can't catch a fukking break.

No the fukk they don't. Dave is a professional comedian. The people who pay to see him should not have to be security as well. fukk I look like spending 60 -100 dollars to see chappelle and also risking going to jail as well. Security is their to do a job and police will be in the area as well. Chappelle needs to handle his business better. Ya'll can shyt on Dane Cook all you want but when a heckler disturbs him, he handles that shyt quick and firmly.

Carlin always had my favorite

Well there are ways to handle that without just shutting down and screwing over the other paying consumers who spent their hard earned money stocking shelf's or working construction to afford tickets to see him perform. You basically admit he is capable of handling the situation but he doesn't have too? I know you may be a fan bruh but come on with that celebrity coddling man. I love Dave as a comic but he screwed over lots of his fans that night and can be a premadonna. nikka has gotten the big head like a mafukka. In the thread in TLR a poster said Dave cut a set short because it was his birthday. Fans like you would be like ohhhh Dave that's fine, I bow at your presence.

Shutting down one heckler in a small venue vs shutting down a big number of hecklers in a crowd of 10,000 (closer to 20) is completely different...it's not hard to see the difference. The best I've ever seen a pro comedian handle a huge crowd is Bill Burr in Philadelphia and he spent 12 minutes telling Philadelphians how awful their city is and left stage to a chorus of boo's...he didn't get any more material out...he just cursed out the hecklers for 10 minutes (albeit it's hilarious but I doubt every person who spent their hard earned cash was happy about being told they should die repeatedly). It's not primadonna behavior, it's an impossible situation to handle. I honestly just don't think comedy was meant for such huge venues, it's better when the comedian connects with a small crowd.

Is this where white people pay for something and think that ticket buys them infinite freedom to do as they please? This is like the those dudes at gold tournaments yelling, "Get in the hole". I like Dave's approach better than addressing the hecklers. This puts pressure on the audience or the venue in future shows to take care of this because they are the two that will suffer. The other people at the show should have whooped those people's asses or had security throw them out.

If dave tried what Bill Burr did, whites would never let him hear the end of it.
I get that, but what would he have to lose? He has no show, no mainstream corporate money behind him. Dude said he's Bigfoot status now, so again why the hell not ya know.
