Just finished watching them. Dave Changed. Not worst or better but changed.

His shows are now more like George Carlin ones. You laugh at the punchline but then you realize that the joke is on you-us.

I didn't laugh as much as I did in others but was more :ohhh:than ever.

He is great and you can see that he feels amazing in the place he's at. More power to him.

First jawn was probably the best Chappelle special I've seen. Second jawn was kinda of trash but it seemed like he might been working out material

Also I heard some one say dude seem like he ain't going be around for long and hate to say it but it seem true. Breh voiced all fukked up, his demeanor basically been completely different since he returned to comedy, and all the chain smoking and being drunk all time :lupe:

I disagree with everyone else. The Bird Revelation is classic, the George Carlin style of social commentary. Equanimity is good but it's typical comedian shyt and Dave does it well, but BR was on some other shyt.

And you guys got the pimp analogy all wrong. YOU ARE THE BOTTOM bytch. DAVE IS THE PIMP.

Dave left while he was on top so you could dikk ride him more than if he stayed on the show and it eventually got stale anyway. The same tactic Jay-Z used when he "retired". That's why he said "this will be OUR SECRET...little bytches!" at the end. Went over everyone's head except mine.

Watched em both high af with my girl last weekend. Of course some of his shyt flew over her head. But I understood what he was saying.

Look like he getting ready to retire soon. He caked the fukk up why not. Hollywood is hell

I picked up on it too. I was actually shocked at how blatant he was about it. Basically said we are all his hoes.
respect tho cuz that shyt worked. He's the only comedian from the chris rock era thats still relevant in the Kevin Hart era and will probably still be selling out shows when kevin hart falls off.

This interpretation doesn’t even make sense bruh. Dave is clearly the trick on the metaphor and Comedy Central/media was iceberg slim. Dave left because he got burnt out. He’s admitted so on many occasions.

It makes perfect sense. The Comedy Central analogy makes no sense when Dave finishes with "This will be our secret...Little bytches!".

Dave is the pimp and his fans are the hoe who was getting close to the mileage. The show wasn't going to get any better and Dave's fame was going to fall off soon. So the controversy of him leaving kept him relevant all this time and allowed him to get more money than he walked away from from CC. The legend of him leaving is why Netflix gave him the most money of any comedian for 4 specials. He is held to an even higher esteem than if he had kept doing the show. He wasn't considered one of the greatest comedians until he "disappeared".

Groupie fans don't want to believe the analogy is about them. That's why they are his bottom bytches. Bottom bytches keep the other bytches (casual fans) in line.

Dave couldn't possibly be the bottom bytch. Who the fukk did Dave check in the name of CC? The analogy only makes sense applied to Dave IF Dave stayed on Comedy Central even though he wanted to leave. But we both know how that turned out.
