I use apple music and young folk even say thats outdated lol young folk listen to Spotify and don’t listen to albums apparently

I recently did a purge to secure my old shyt so I could delete datpiff and put of my whole catalogue on streaming…not only did Apple Music have mostly everything, even Spotify had a few mixtapes. The only mixtape I simply could not find was Smoke Dza ‘Bc I felt like it’ and that dropped in 2017. There’s obscure rappers/singers who have their shyt on streaming. Anyone not on streaming is not serious as an artist

And if you old enough, you BEEN took these steps: datpiff > download > CD > rip CD to cpu > cpu to iTunes > iTunes to iPod > iPod to iPhone.

Believe it or not, there is an entire culture of people who grew up with music collections....and didn't get rid of them cause something new/more convenient came along.

Not everyone has the convenience of a constant cell phone connection, or they simply want to hear their music without any hangups from an app or streaming services that are notorious for taking the music you uploaded, and replacing it with edited/clean versions.

A lot of them "Promotional Use Only" tapes aren't on streaming services either.
