Nah, this ain’t it. I talked shyt on Ham all night but where were you guys when LWO was collectively shytting on Vogel? :camby:
Vogel actually had halftime adjustments and defensive schemes.. it was his rotations that could be questionable, but no one for a second ever said he didn't adjust on the defensive end coming out of halftime.

Darvin Ham is the worst of both worlds

HE WAS FINE TONIGHT?
PUTTIN GABRIEL ON TOWNS?
REFUSING TO PLAY MAMBA KEEPING REAVES ON THE BENCH THAT LONG
DENNIS BAILED HIS STUPID ASS OUT
Have YOU SEEN THE GAME?!?!?
fukk OFF AND fukk YOU
Not sure if you’re just trolling but you just wrong.

-Wenyen Gabriel played two minutes…TWO. The entire game.

-Reeves played the most non Bron or AD minutes, 39.

-Lakers have 4 guards who could play 30+ minutes for any team in the league. It’s gonna be a game to game call to see who’s hot that night. Tonight it was Schroeder. That’s not ‘bailing him out’, that’s a coach rightly identifying and riding the hot hand

The lakers have 2 issues. 1, No backup big. And 2 …Lebron. This team needs to go thru AD. Bron kinda stifles the offense by reverting to that old ‘Bron needs help’ iso ball. Meanwhile he now has PLENTY of help. And plenty of creators. Lakers look better offensively when Reeves/Russell/Schroeder is involved in p&r, which makes sense bc they’re young and crafty guards, not a 40 year old energy conserving run the clock down Bron

I think Lakers stans just like shytting on their head coach.
This.

This game was pretty easy to pinpoint the issues and none were coaching:

About 2 or 3 unforced turnovers by Bron

About 2 or 3 butterball naked shots they gave up to Anderson early. Like yea he can’t shoot, but gotdamn he’s an nba player

2 or 3 lazy close out or ‘aww shyt I lost my man’ 3s given up by lebron on defense. (Low key conley might have been Bron’s assignment on that foul)

It seems small but that’s 10-14 points right there. That’s the difference between a close game and a light blowout. A ton of it comes back to Lebrons ‘I conserve energy on defense’ approach

Thank you. This is called being objective. I really wanna know what peoples issues were with Ham tonight. Was it cause the Wolves were scoring too much in the first half? Cuz if Ham is gonna get the blame for that, you have to give him the blame for putting together a lineup that limited the Wolves to like 12 points in the 4th. If anyone thought Bamba or Thompson were gonna get significant minutes tonight then you don't know enough about NBA basketball. They haven't clocked enough mins in a Lakers uniform to be trusted like that against one of the best bigs in the league. Sorry, no smart coach is gonna do that. And get used to it cause both will struggle to crack the rotation in the playoffs unless there's some major development. Wenyan's sorry ass is the #2. I've criticized Ham as much as any Lakers fan this year...for terrible rotations, playing Troy Brown way too much, playing Westbrook in the 4th...not staggering the starters to the bench properly, not using the challenge, not calling timeouts, keeping the starters out too long...keeping the starters in too long, etc etc. He's not a great coach by any means, but he's the one we got. And tonight he made adjustments to the rotation that worked, Kept the players who were playing well in, and the ones who were struggling out. Troy Brown had less mins than he usually gets...he staggered AD and Brown perfectly....he used the challenge which erased a foul and free throws...and used his timeouts as best as you could ask. What is the issue? Certainly not bottom 5 or WOAT.

T wolves coach is obviously worse. As soon as they started switching guards on Kat I'd be on the floor dragging that big goofy nikka to the block and make them double team so Conley could spark more 3s.

Dug their hole playing a lineup with Bron at center and zero shooters.

Called a stupid late timeout when the Lakers were up and Grizzlies were about to foul the best free throw shooter. That forced an inbound pass leading to a turnover when they could have just held the ball and gotten exactly what they wanted.

I'm sure there was more from hearing the reactions but I missed most of the game.

Mo Bamba is in his 5th year in the league, joined the team over two months ago, has been on the floor in 9 games. If you're not going to play him when the other team has an elite 7-footer and you have no backup center, when are you going to play him? So maybe he commits a couple fouls, so what? At least get him in there and see what he can do, if you want to win a title you could have Sabonis, Jokic, and Embiid in your future so you need this guy.

This is facts. I can tell a lot of people don't actually watch these games because some of the stuff he does is comical at best. Like who let's their opponents get a 14-2 run before calling time out? Also his timing for subs always seems off and he let's guys linger in the game too long when it's clear they ain't got it. My biggest thing with him is he seems good at managing ego's and guy's seem to like him. Outside of that I don't see it.
