It's inevitable bruh. However, I do agree with the fact that the Avengers film has set the bar too high for TDKR. I KNOW the movie will be good/dope, but I just don't see it being better than the Avengers. I just want a dope end to the trilogy and I'm sure Nolan will do that.

Avengers was just an okay movie breh.

Some cool scenes, funny one-liners and antics here and there...but really wasn't like that.

The financial fight will be interesting, if anyone can beat them it's Batman (Or Hobbit...), but critically TDKR is about to >>>>

And I say that as someone that doesn't consider Nolan to be all he's hyped up to be.

Edit : Am I just out of touch? I didn't know that Avengers was supposed to be "that shyt", I thought it was a fun romp but nothing more. nikkas in this topic treating it like it's next level. I personally walked out feeling that Serenity > Avengers

Rotten Tomatoes is barely a critical website. It's more of a consensus website, but difference. 93 means that Rotten Tomatoes editors thought that 93 percent of the critics thought it was okay or better, nothing more and nothing less. They read the reviews, and determine whether the reviewer thought it was okay or a dud based on the tone of the review (arbitrary). For a big blockbuster like Avengers that score basically means that it was a fun romp that doesn't insult your intelligence as much as a Michael Bay film. That's cool and all but to say "Avengers got a 93, it was loved by all, classic filmmaking" is ridiculous.

I don't like using critics at all, but if you wanna go there, than check out the metacritic score : The Avengers Reviews, Ratings, Credits, and More - Metacritic They still use editors to determine the score of some films, but at least they use a barometer higher than "thumbs up/thumbs down". Avengers has 69, Serenity a 74, and The Dark Knight a 82......

Back to the topic at hand...fukk a critical score...TDKR can easily be better than TDK...Nolan figuring out how to actually shoot action would be a start.

Marion Cotillard rarely disappoints. Regardless of how big or small her part is, it will be classy.

Anne Hathaway is catching a lot of hate but I can't see Catwoman being worst than Rachel...and she may even surprise and be quite good. if she surprises and is as good as the Burton Catwoman than we about to...

Bale himself, judging from the trailers at least, actually seems like he's going to pick it up a bit in this film. He SUCKED in TDK, was completely carried by Ledger, Eckhart, Freeman and Oldman. The rumors floating about seem to suggest that he will need to show some range in this movie, at least similar to what he had to do in Begins. Dude can act, if the film had the perfect, fulfilling ending, with Batman as the centerpiece of it, and a logical conclusion for Bruce Wayne, that is really, really, REALLY going to go a long way towards making this film work.

Of course, everyone is going to place an emphasis on Bane versus Joker. Hardy is just as if not more talented than Ledger. I think that Bane is about to come with that ruthless aggression and make Joker look like...a joke.

Marvels "No stakes" Avengers isn't about to have shyt on this movie. Fall back breh. A storm is coming, better batten down the hatches my nig....
