I think it's badly phrased but I assume it means pressure to conform/shrink themselves to be "acceptable" people for a man.
It's pressure trying to carry yourself in a manner you don't deem necessary..

And the categorial failure of black men and black women to recognize this is a major factor in the current state of affairs for us. Raising a child is the most important aspect of having a family. The safety and development of the child should outweigh a lot of dumb shyt that trips up couples. You're gonna argue, you're gonna disagree, you're gonna get mad. But if it's not a significant problem (domestic violence, mental abuse, infidelity, criminality, etc) you are doing your child a disservice by threatening to end your relationship.. That's my major problem with the boyfriend in this case. If you are willing to shyt on the mother of your child in order to get some bars off on twitter you're telling me your relationship doesn't matter to you. You're telling me your pride is more important than your family. The normal thing would have been to say nothing publicly and discuss this privately at some point with her. And whatever her reaction would be...I guarantee you it wouldn't be as bad as selling t-shirts and sending subliminal disses while dancing.
