It was incredible...up until the end. Last two episodes (last one in particular) felt like a copout to keep the story going and keep key characters in the game. Understandable, but the execution was lacking.
The dude who played Bullseye is outstanding. He really seemed like one of those crazy dudes who only go into law enforcement not to end up on the other side of the law. His trick shots in action =
I love how this season made you downright terrified for the protagonists. I see they used {slight spoiler}
Nadeem like Jorge in Narcos
. That sequence in the prison . I was scared for Matt.
I loved how the fights were less fancy this time, but twice as intense. Matt not being at full health and sometimes not at full sensory awareness made things super-tense. Actually, the Nadeem arc also reminded me of Dom in Mr. Robot too.....
I was a little iffy about them spending most of an episode going into Karen's past because honestly, I didn't care to see the whole thing play out, but they handled it pretty well. You genuinely sympathize for her and I know more than a couple girls who are in similar predicaments with their family. Same with the backstory of Bullseye. As far as I'm concerned this is his official backstory since he doesn't have one. Watching Fisk slowly get into his head and earn his trust was awe-inspiring. They made it seem completely believable and organic.
Overall, it's another great season and one of the best things on Netflix at this point.
