Bruh I been into martial arts movies my whole life. Seen a vast majority and knew of cats like Jet Li and Donnie Yen YEARS before they hit remotely any kind mainstream success. From even in classic Bruce Lee movies u had this. I mean come on fam. And no they didn't have the same training. There's masters and then there's students. If u gonna role up into a school and think the masters and the students gonna be on the same level than be my guest. What it sounds like to me is u have no idea what u talkin bout. Like I said. U complaining about shyt that's prevelent in most martial arts movies. But even in real life. I've studied martial arts for years. The masters and sifu's were always >>>>>>>. And when in the show did they fight 400 ninjas at a time? And the ninjas was giving him a hard time. Especially since he couldn't hear a heartbeat. U think the shyt the Punisher was doin to them heavily armed gangs was realistic?
I grew up during the Sho Kosugi / Ernie Reyes Jr era breh, I've seen just as many movies as you. And again it was cool when I was a kid but it doesn't fly for me nowadays. They managed to make the fights in S1 suspenseful and (imo) with better coreography than in S2. That's just my opinion you're welcome to disagree but I'm not sure why you're trying to argue with me about my opinion.
You're right about masters vs students, but c'mon you know those hand ninjas were just throwaways. The trope is tired; I'd much rather see the protagonast fight 2 ninjas that are truly threatening than 40 ninjas who run in with swords above their heads, take one shot to the chest, and fly offscreen. That's a pointless, poorly executed encounter and a waste of time, especially after the excellent fights that we got in Season 1.
The 400 ninjas thing was an exaggeration, but you know what I meant.
And no I don't think the punisher was realistic either, but what was cool about that was they addressed it in universe. Remember how many thugs were like, "I couldn't believe it was just one man..." so it was acceptable to me because even in-universe everyone was like, "This doesn't make any damn sense."
