How is that impressive ?

That is what I expect KingPin to be doing

The best scene he's had so far IMO is when they broke him out of the police transport and he walked off

That's the point breh and its made more impressive because of the performance that homie does. He makes Fisk a guy who's holding everything under the surface..every damn emotion and you know as the viewer that it's all going to bubble over and when it does, it's going to be dangerous and there are scenes like that in the show that illustrate that perfectly. It made his menace that much scarier because you know he's clearly calculating enough to hold all of that in but possibly a tad unhinged. The scene with he and Urich is a perfect encapsulation of that

My favorite was when a young Fisk murked his pops

I'm actually glad this thread was made so this can be discussed and nipped in the bud.

Everyone that's shytting on Fisk..... And notice I said FISK and not KINGPIN... I don't think yall got the intentions of the direction of this show.

Just like how from jump Matthew wasn't quite from DareDevil, he was just a white boy in a black outfit with a black mask fighting crime. He didn't even have a weapon till it was given too him.

It's the same with Fisk, it crazy yall accept Matthew for who he was but ain't accept Fisk, hell the law firm didn't even have clients and had a written sign on they front door.

This was more a take on Fisk transitioning too KINGPIN.

There are always reasons why people become who they become. Plus think about this from a marvel world standpoint..... If dude was already the so called Kingpin yall where thinking he should've already been.

Then why hasn't he already crossed paths with Stark, Shield, Cap, Hulk, Hawkeye, or etc?

Again, much like throughout this show not one time till the last ep was Matt ever referred to as "DareDevil", please provide one scene where Fisk was called Kingpin.... Just one!!!
He was very clearly called the king pin before he was ever shown.

Im fine with an origins story of him becoming the king pin but in this story before we even see him on screen hes called king pin and is portrayed like hes already the ultimate boss and people are shook of him.

But the way he acts doesnt line up with his role. He acts like a low level goon.(im 5 eps in)

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
That's exactly what they were going for, and they nailed it. It was a new take on Kingpin, but a dope one, and he's off rip the most interesting villain Marvel studios have produced purely from a character standpoint.

And Vincent D'Onofiro is the fukking dude :manny:

Dude was a shy kid that murdered his own father with a hammer. Of course he's fukked up, and he only steps into the spotlight through necessity and is never comfortable doing it.

His awkwardness works on another level, as it makes it more believable that the city would be on his side after he goes public. So many rich, benevolent types tend to be recluses and socially uncomfortable.

But peep how comfortably he speaks whenever he loses his shyt and starts murking people with his own hands. He's awkward whenever he's being political, or lying, but when he's talking that cold blooded shyt to daredevil or his advisor or when he comes clean to that chick it vanishes.

It's a dope performance with depth to it.
exactly...

nikkas complain that the marvel movies are popcorn fluff... then they get an in depth character, that's gonna have to play out over a few seasons and cross overs... and they already done with him

we haven't even seen the real kingpin yet... shyt they JUST got the real daredevil in costume and everything... give it a chance... it's a slow intro

I don't think so, breh. They only ever referred to him as their 'employer' before the word got out and they just started calling him Fisk.

This.

The fact that he could have just as easily let Urich live out of some moral/respect shyt, or killed him like he did made that scene work.

That doesn't work if he's a comic book villain from jump.

Whatever, two posts and I'm out of this thread lol

He was only referred to as "my employer" before they started saying Fisk.

Nah he's the best thing about the whole shyt. We were not watching Kingpin as we know him yet, now that he's accepted that he is the ill intent you're going to get a different look...he's finna level up.

Now that he's out in the open he has no choice but to own who he is or bow out...

I kinda get what they were trying to do with the character, still this thread has me WEAK lol. Dude does seem retarded at times.

And he's def the most fleshed out villain in the MCU, but that's not saying much :mjpls:

Dude playing the Daredevil character is doing well tho, even tho his accent does slip a few times lol.

It's definitely not saying much since they can only flesh out a villain so much in a two hour movie, whereas Fisk is fleshed out over thirteen episodes about an hour long each with one episode dedicated almost entirely to him.
