I had no idea, I saw a pic of Bryan holding up the WWE title on social media. Went and checked the results and hit the

I know people shyt on him for his histrionics, but if Bryan Alvarez was ever right about anything, it was about WWE only really knowing how to build heat.
First of all, NO I didn't watch because I have better things to do with my life.
Second of all, part of the reason I don't watch anymore is simply because I get sick every time I read results and spoilers. Here's why: while they can make good decisions in the abstract when their backs are against the wall (the McIntyre/Angle booking, the Dean Ambrose turn, and this are all good decisions in a vacuum), when considered in the context of a show literally designed to send people home dissatisfied most of the time, it just becomes an utterly deadening chore to engage with this show. WWE brings Bryan back, spends half the year mishandling his feuds, and then turns him heel because the consequences of their actions finally started to catch up with them in the form of Bryan's more muted reactions over the past few months. Yeah, it's not BAD, and it might lead to some good matches and character work, but why should I, or anyone else for that matter, actually care about any of this? WWE just seemingly drags 90% of their characters into the abyss for no other reason than to do so, and they expect us to be satisfied with that?
Yeah, the prospect of good matches and angles are good, but at some point, doesn't satisfying the audience (not indulging the audience, there's a difference) have to come into play here? It's ludicrous that they expect people to keep watching this shyt, and judging by their depressed house show numbers during their foreign tours, other fans are starting to feel this way as well.
fukk it, no one needs to watch WWE. The way they write stories and present them to their "universe" is an insult.
(Don't even get me started on Becky Lynch naming Charlotte as her replacement. Literal months of excellent character work flushed down the drain.)
