I always thought it was never used in a good connotation, yes it just describes a lighter toned woman but have you ever heard in not a negative type way? the overhwmingly majority of people who are considered black are ADOS, we naturally think others are just like us and outside of certain parts of America and the anamolies we have outside of places like NY/NE/etc with high nonados presents you would be right to assume that.
