Where It’s Not Safe
If she sees herself as afro latino, cool whatever
as long as she sticks to claiming Afro latino it shouldnt matter to anyone except afro latinos/dominicans where shes from. thats not my culture so hey i dont care:yeshrug:

now her claiming Black/ADOS/African American will be a issue. as she is not ados nor has ados ancestry
She aint afro anything lol

she’s a triguena like J Lo.....basically a quadroon

its related to this, cause nikkas like you in that area are near more nonados people than those of us in the midwest, west, and south.

and the term was used for LS Black american woman. nikkas mainly starting calling other bytches that by assuming they were black/ados. And of course nikkas like you who just like to slap that label on any dominican you find attractive:mjgrin:

:mjlol:
i & all nyc nikkaz - were calling shortiez redbones before you was even born
....like where do u think da term came from ?

so how u gonna say that nonsense
:mjlol:

As a fellow new yorker, breh this is off

First and foremost the term comes from the south. Redbone and yellow was first in reference to black American women

It speaks to the ados color spectrum. Someone obviously outside of that, in another cultural group, was never considered initially

like your not calling a mestizo puerto rican, a yellowbone lol

do yall have a 3 tier system like jamaicans or is it that all yall are dominican similar to ADOS?
i remember when some afro latinos got measured for their dna on buzzfeed i think, and one had around the same percentage of african as Dani

idk how afro latinos identify their selves in depth or in nuance.

with ados people we do not determine our blackness by how african you are, you can be less than 50% and still be considered black.

idk how dominicans work with something like that, alot of yall seem admixtured just like ADOS people to. but maybe yall diff. IDK.

the term yellowbone is from the south & it’s simply a spin off from the term redbone from nyc

now redbone - is term of a female skin tone - usually somebody who has Indian phenotype ei. Washington Redskins or Red Grange the old great football player who was Native American

way... way... back in da 80’s nikkaz were calling shorties redbone & that was mainly used towards females with light skin who was Coolie and most likely from Trinidad or Guyana .... For instants a girl like Nicki Minaj is classified as a redbone and she happens to be Trinidadian
again I am older than both of you - born and raise in nyc, the term has absolutely nothing to do with strictly a black ADOS female it only refers to the skin complexion of the girl

but if you want to say yellow bone is something completely different :hubie:
then I won’t argue with u, because we in nyc never used that term

i dunno where the term redbone originated from but I can guarantee you it wasn’t being said in the south like that back in the early hiphop dayz

nikkaz been saying redbone in nyc since da early 80’s

but my point aint about where the word came from - my point is the word dosnt have any thing to do with the particular females race it only refers to her skin complexion

Since these biracial folks love to downplay their blackness, they should keep that same energy (for a lack of a better term) when black people start dominating the world.
Isn't this what y'all WANTED Dominicans and any other people of mixed African heritage to do? :gucci: every day y'all quoting 75% and 80% minimums.

Make up y'all fukking minds.
