EVEN IF THEY DONT GET BRON
THEY CAN SIGN PG AND COUSINS.

IT WAS A GOOD DEAL FOR BOTH TEAMS.

These guys barely understand what they are watching. Surely you don't think they would understand the moves?

Mozgov AND Deng on this roster causes them to possibly miss out on an A+ Free Agent. Was it a bad signing? Sure, but it aint on Magic and good on him for clearing out room in quick order. D'Angelo is sacrificed, but I think Lonzo has the potential to be better than him anyway.

Can't wait to up this thread in a year when the Lakers have 2-3 perennial All Stars and people are calling Magic a God.

A Out of his prime Bron; PG, Zo, and Ingram sounds dope on paper but where's the depth gon come from? Bron and PG both will make 30+ mil in FA, role players cost dough, hard to build a team with two guys making more than half your cap? Zubac and whatever young players LA keep better Ball or tho this is Clippers 2.0(4 good players and not much else).

This was a great trade for both teams. Brook Lopez is one of the best offensive centers in the game, and he is a great free throw shooter and can hit from 3, plus you could probably get a good sixth man with that extra pick or use it as a bargaining chip.

The Nets have the cap space to abosorb Mozgovs contract and D'Angelo Russel gives the Nets a young star to play alongside Jeremy Lin and he's actually a system fit.

Yup. True but I still will take an out of his prime LeBron over most SFs in the league. He can be like Duncan was on the Spurs his last 5 years and allow George and Lonzo to be Kawhi and (hopefully) a better version of LaMarcus. Bron has always been able to attract skilled vets at great contracts. Lakers will play with the unselfish basketball mindset (Bron, Ball and Magic are all about that). This will helo make it an attractive place to ring chase. Add in a few scrubs and we have a contender to make the NBA finals. I ain't guaranteeing titles but they will be closer than at least 25 teams in the league.

What are you taking about ?...Cousins will be a FA in 2018,his contract come off the books.....LA can sign Lebron and George with the cap space, then sign their own FA(Cousins)....You obviously don't understand the NBA salary cap rules.

Now if LA signs Cousins first, then they could only sign one max player....so again,if LA has 65 million in cap space, they can use that money on Lebron and George, then sign Cousins.

How do they get cousins. Your saying that the pelicans will trade for them. Also there's a thing called cap holds. Cousins cap hold will be 28 million which would mean you'd have to trade away two players to have the space to sign both.

Magic and Rob fukked up big time breh. They just preemptively traded D'Lo under the assumption that the 27, 28 and Clarkson would be enough for PG and the Pacers told them to eat a dikk. The Pacers now leverage because we HAVE to trade for PG or we've essentially given away D'Lo for nothing. Not getting PG would be a huge stain on their resume and Lakers fans would be livid –especially after hearing that Jerry West literally begged to come here and we told him to piss off. This is why they offered the 2nd pick in that awful trade to the Kings. I'm starting to doubt Magic and Rob know the rules of the game tbh
You don't seem to understand that they don't have to do shyt to get PG except wait.
So the leverage is on the Pacers to get something rather than nothing before the trade deadline, because PG has said he wants to be in LA, whoever trades for hiim, not in LA the rental time gets shorter and shorter, ergo the price, less and less in return for the Pacers.

This, if anything, this gives the Lakers two cheap players to add to their roster.

That the Lakers found a way to get out of that horrific Mozgov contract is nothing short of amazing.

LWO should be ecstatic.

The Nets however...I don't see the upside here, unless they think Russell is a real star in the making.
