I don't blame Woodley for fighting the way he did
I thought his strategy was on point and given the type of fighter Maia his performance was great
How else would you beat a fighter like that who has excellent jiu jitsu
It's shame because I was really looking forward to that GSP VS Woodley fight

I felt this way during the fight and even more so now after watching this, woodley had ample opportunities to piece Maia up after he exited from the stuffed takedowns but was playing it too safe. You dont want to get too greedy and then Maia go under punches for another takedown attempt, but no way you can watch this and not say Woodley wasn't overly cautious.

The GSP fight was never gonna happen. That coward has never once mentioned Woodley's name and he knows why. All of the sudden magically wants to go up to MW when for years he was too small when the world wanted to see him fight Anderson. fukk him
Was it a boring fight? Yes
But Maia is a fukking hard fight for everyone. He got one shotted once but it's been all tough fights since then. Only person who's dominate him as much as Woodley was GOAT Silva and Dana shyt on him too. Someone please get that fat, bald piece of shyt out of there once and for all
I agree the fight was suppose to be a setup. They thought he was going to go in there throwing hands and get caught by Maia and lose the belt. but T Wood played it right and now they extra mad. Dana white can suck a big black dikk with his racist ass.
