Most people defending the dude would be hella upset if their package showed up damaged.
And most people criticizing him have never done this type of work. It’s damn near impossible to finish your day on time if you gently place every package in the truck. It’s also physically exhausting to walk back and forth that many times. Most people would quit on their first day, then you would have a shortage of drivers because no one would be willing to do this type of work.

So that gives him an excuse to do what he did in public where people could easily record it?

You should see what goes on FedEx Lax distribution center, stackers putting boxes with arrows up sideways, or upside down if they trying to fit into a tight space. Pushers pushing boxes on top of boxes and sometimes throwing them (if they have limited space or coming down fast) from conveyor belts. For those that put liquid items in bags y'all asking for leaks and spills. Live fishes. and grasshoppers better pray a stacker doesn't put the box upside down.

You aren't going to do that in public though where people can easily be recording, so what goes on in a distribution center is irrelevant to the topic at hand.
