And hip hop culture is run by corporate America. Hip Hop didn't routinely go platinum until white folks saw niqqas with guns.

I couldn't agree with you more, I can't stand the corporate entity that hip-hop has become.

And 100% corporate heads push negative stereotypes through hip-hop, they fukking destroyed this shyt and it makes me sick.

But dudes like Rick Ross have no problem getting rich off this shyt.

Indeed. You'll always find someone ready to profit off of it. But Americans buy what they feel comfortable with. Black criminality has always been a top seller since Reconstruction and the start of the first census.

Oh yeah, the people who support these images disgust me.

Just like how Pac was only known as a fukking gangster rapper,.

I think the real problem is that it becomes systemic, and you put these icons out there (hip-hop stars talking guns, drugs etc) and the young generation who relates to them then begins to think that's cool.

That's a whole other discussion though, it's part of the reason why I fukking hate the state of hip-hop in 2012. It's a capitalist machine and sends the worst fukking message possible.

That new Saigon album is dope though

I didn't know my wife and I hit the gun range for something other than learning to protect ourselves.

What a sad and lazy generalization.

Yall have no idea how many people work with me who live out in PA and all own guns and hardly any of them hunt....only whites can protect themselves...blacks just have them bc its part of the culture, not at all to prect themselves. smh

I also love how he tried to imply that the racial aspect of this is what Tony Dungy meant... The 3/4's or 2/3s of the team who raised their hands could have included white players as well... Tony didn't mention anything about race... But somehow Dan Patrick came away with this bullshyt...

Dan was just looking for a reason to bring this up and Tony's comment was his ticket...
