If you look at the history of guns in America, white people have used guns for non-hunting and non-protection reasons longer than black people.

It was the Italian gangsters/mobsters who used machine guns in gang wars that resulted in the machine gun laws in the 1930s, not black people.
Of all the "crazies" mass killings in the 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s, they involved mainly non-black males.

When it comes to run-of-the-mill gang war/territory shootings, yeah, the black and Latino gang community are worse than the white gangs.
