How does Star Wars have no movies in the pipeline Disney really did a number on that franchise.

I remember hearing the rumor is that Kathleen is out after Indiana jones so they're clearing the board
Good riddance..she made it Woke Wars, all the men were dumb and brutish, Finn turned into a fetch and step it, Rose Tico wasn't defended at all from management, and the only character development went to a 100lb white girl named Daisey Ridley....
You don't like minorities in your space movies I see
Its wild how Rogue One was able to walk the line of being steeped in nostalgia and providing some fan service while also being a departure from what we consider the Star Wars formula to be, and be successful at the box office yet no one at Disney saw fit to give other directors a shot at making something outside the standard SW movie formula. They saw the reaction from Mando where they just acquiesced to the OG fandom. They know they can just show a scene of Chewbacca having avocado toast at brunch and nikkas will lose their proverbial shyt. Why think out of the box when that's the case?
David Benioff and D.B. Weiss were the Game of Thrones showrunners. They had a deal to make Star Wars movies that got dropped too though.Aint he the one who fukked up GoT.
Good, im glad his shyt got canceled.

Damon Lindelof made Lost, The Watchmen TV series and The Leftovers.
Rogue One lucked out. Remember they had to re-shoot & re-cut the film multiple times. Forest Whitaker in the original trailer doesn't have the same look in the finished film. Vader scenes were changed, etcIts wild how Rogue One was able to walk the line of being steeped in nostalgia and providing some fan service while also being a departure from what we consider the Star Wars formula to be, and be successful at the box office yet no one at Disney saw fit to give other directors a shot at making something outside the standard SW movie formula.
Probably wasn't willing to make a movie loaded with fan service, built on a foundation of nostalgiaI watched Watchmen; Lindelof has proven he can take a proven property and expand upon it originally.
Star Wars is about merchandis. But look what sells. Itās aesthetics.Hate the fact that the series is called Star Wars but only takes place over like 40 years with the same 12 characters and 2 families.
Like can we get back to the expanded universe side of things? Set it in the past, set it in the far future, theres a lot of stuff you can do outside of the sky walkers
