This escalated very quickly and the timing is interesting. I think they felt that they needed to get Tariq completely out after he was mentioned along with them in that NYT article. Tariq is being lumped into a movement they created and they want to make sure that if there's another article about ADOS, that he is not mentioned. The stuff with Trump and the whole FBA designation is just cover for their real intentions and that's fine because Tariq is inflammatory and can damage their movement.

Not a bad theory. Good actually.

She does that at times. Last night they called her out on it on Twitter.
Their stance about ados being a political movement.
And Tariq fba ONLY being about culture.
Bullshyt.
They've intentionally blurred the lines and benefitted from it.
Many people have repped ADOS, thinking that it was who we were. Not saying we didn't know tone and Yvette were pushing politics but they act like if u claim ados u must agree with all their politics. Once this is more known, their numbers will drop.
Also when Tariq says its about culture, he's clearly reffering to being an fba or ados is clearly about what your lineage is not NECESSARILY what your politics are.
And although that's a part of our conversation, the basis of being American descendants of slaves or Foundational Black Americans is based upon lineage. You can't join or select based upon how you feel. You either or are you're not.

He's not for monetary reparations or reparations specifically for FBAs.
i havent really been following any of this, but could you point me to where he said this..

from the tweet, he says hes for reparations, but would like to see a plan.. doesnt seem like a reason to come at breh like that.. sh!t was unnecessary if anything..
