They want to the FBA conference to unite with them though?, many of their group supporters asked for the conference to be combined? And Tariq said No, he good, why angle and state that it's a competitive conference when there was 2 chances that you could have united with another black conference/event before FBA was even established? Because ADOS conference was over 1 1/2 years in the making. Tone and Yvette - like most people didn't know what Revolt had planned. Best believe, the Revolt conference wouldn't have happened unless ADOS made reparations mainstream. They saw it as a money opp -- and jumped in last min.
Revolt was a last-min (3-6 month planning) conference. Just long enough to request RFP for sponsorships and get on Q4 budgets.
ADOS conference tickets have been on sale for over a year.

Tone and Yvette started this whole fiasco (that unfortunately backfired on the ADOS thing) because they felt threatened by Tariq holding his own event without them.
Thats why they started the "competing event" fallacy. They had to find some way to justify interjecting themselves in an event that had nothing to do with them or their ADOS group
