Question:

Why didn't Tone and Yvette reach out to REVOLT and try and hold their conference with them, ADOS & Revolt?? I know why but follow me,

They want to the FBA conference to unite with them though?, many of their group supporters asked for the conference to be combined? And Tariq said No, he good, why angle and state that it's a competitive conference when there was 2 chances that you could have united with another black conference/event before FBA was even established? Why is that? :patrice:
I think the answer to those question depend on why did Tariq say no??

I mean he was riding and getting shine from ADOS but when it's time to put in work you just don't respond??

From what I remember - they asked their followers to @Revolt on Twitter, FB, IG etc - to request that Tone, Yvette or both be on the panel. And they both have a relationship with Killer Mike.

Many were concerned it would be on this - "give us free college and an apology" type ish -- and/or included everyone with melaninated skin tones.

Basically, not focusing on the descendants of slavery in America (Colonial/Anthebellum) - and not taking in account every after Emancipation.

So, then they asked Tone I guess - then they (ADOS) only supported it cause Tone would be there to speak for ADOS.

TARIQ - actually wanted to be there too - so he could front like he knows what TF he is talking about in terms of reparations -- and to "PIVOT" his Mr. Pan-African melaniod "finesse" to be seen as a Reparations advocate -- and solidify "FBA."

IMO, Yvette and Tone did it for the reason of representation for the cause. Tariq did it for a resume addition - for future "finesses" and money making opps.

And Tariq was the most bothered he didnt get an invite. As he showcased that by giving them (Revolt) press via his social media platforms. All to set up for a "finesse" to launch his FBA conference.

I just asked before all the attack of him trying to destroy ADOS,

Why was his starter kick page taken down?? That happened first before the exposure
Because you can't ask money for political stuff

That shyt was first framed as a conference with political elements like PACS

I agree with you about Tariq

But the fact that later they dropped tone cause diddy told em to, proves that accepting that invitation was a big mistake

What shine was he getting from ADOS???

ADOS was not his movement, so what shine was Tariq getting? when in fact the movement was not his?

You're spewing out anything breh and hoping it sticks. I'm just asking 3rd grader level questions, nothing deep.

Tariq stated that ADOS will move towards the LGBT stance, do you see this coming??

Talking about politics and organizing groups that will be politically active

So why did he change from having political elements to none at all and just culture??

The fact that he couldn't get a bag with the political talk made him change his own plan for the conference??

Interesting, I gotta agree with you when you say, it's not looking good:ehh:

Before I answer this:

What were his political elements that he was stating that he and those who attended the conference were going to speak on?

It was only a mistake cause they dropped him.

Tone, Yvette or Dr. Darity should have been on that panel. As they are the people who brought reparations BACK into the mainstream and political arena.

The basis and reason Revolt saw the opp for a conference to make money in the first place.

Tariq reason = Revolt reason

Not knocking or discrediting anyone before - who has been doing whatever they were doing - but without hashtag ADOS being created and used to educate and mobilize people. We would not be talking about any of this.

And I say this who interned and volunteered with John Conyers and his office in the past.

He got shine with that NYT article

Did they mention fba in the article? I don't think so

I don't see that coming but some descendants of slaves are lgbt right? You think they don't deserve reparations because of it??

Breh simple question, easy answers

Because the #ADOS and FBA conference are suppose to be EXCLUSIVELY for AA's,
Where revolt is for all people of color.

Why cant you understand that:mjtf:

He always says you need money to play the politics game so he was talking about creating PACs

Now answer my question, why change your own game plan because of the platform where you raising the money??

So because they don't allow raising money for political causes you just gonna stop talking about it?

It ain't looking good breh

NYT reached out to him. He was not the creator of the ADOS group. He didn't call NYT though, they came to him.

Some are midgets and handicap too, so they will take their stance too??

You're a descendant of slaves that's all that should matter, not your gender, medical condition, physical state

Right??
