Comedians are some of the most depressed people around. Alot of die young or tragically.

It's always jokes until it isn't.

Masking your pain with jokes delays dealing with your own personal trauma or dealing with reality.

Is it extreme to process emotions like that? Hell yeah. But this could be anyone one of us depending on the circumstances.
