No vocal tonality and convincability.
So, rappers rap in goofball outdated cartoon voices, autotune, or super fast.
You don't have no vocal tonality you can't rap simple as that.

Only mainstream lyricists are Kendrick and Cole at the moment .... everyone else is just cadence, melody and autotune singing (thanks weezy).
