J cole is most definitely a lyricist. Just because he is mainstream does not mean he is not. I agree that he may not be the best but he still is, it is just getting overhyped with all these lullaby rappers out.

I've seen a few videos of that guy...he uses the same boring ass flow and his lyrics aren't exactly mindboggling...
All these SBTV/LinkupTV rappers sound the same just on different beats from what I've seen. There's a reason why 95% of them go nowhere with a rap career.

There's nothing that makes them distinctive.
