No.

If there was no friction between Draymond and KD, he still would've left GS.

Here's a brief list of some of the reasons on why he left:

- winning those two championships didn't feel as fulfilling as he thought it would be (he was still looking to scratch that itch)
- the NBA public devalued what he achieved there because he joined a "superteam"
- he wasn't embraced by the fanbase like he was Steph, Dray or Klay
- he wanted to play with Kyrie
- he didn't like playing in a motion offense.

The wheels were already in motion on his decision to leave before that incident with Dray.

But more to the point - the Warriors won another championship after KD left, so even if you want to blame Dray for KD leaving, they still had success after his departure. Is that the damage you're talking about where they still won without him?

:usure:

KD wouldn't have stayed around in GS after the 2019 Finals, regardless, after tearing his Achilles and Klay tearing his ACL. What possible reason would he have had to stay around in The Bay when it looked like the Warriors' reign was over? He had no loyalty to that franchise to stick around like Steph, Dray and Klay did to weather the storm until they had one last run in 2022.
Okay nikka. So here is KD saying the way it was handled is the reason he left. I know you have this grandiose sense of self that you’re this expert but guess what. KD’s word matters more than yours . :heh:

Inb4 another meaningless paragraph

He probably would've felt different about returning if things had worked out in Brooklyn.

But just from a pride standpoint, the idea of returning after they won another one (without you) while you've failed to win anything since leaving (with all the criticism/not a leader/bus driver/etc), and now the optics of having to come back to them? Hell nah.

He's talking about he didn't like the way it was handled, not that it was the reason (let alone the only reason) on why he left.

You're too damn stupid to see that it was a culmination of things that led to his departure. It wasn't just one thing.

Even if it was all sunshine and rainbows, and there was no friction between the playing group, he still would've left after what happened in the 2019 Finals. Him tearing his Achilles and Klay tearing his ACL would've been the sign for him to leave and embrace a new challenge, not stick around in GS where the Warriors were a lottery team and then had to work themselves out the mud again.

You still can't address my argument on what damage did Dray truly do with KD leaving when GS still ended up winning a title after he left. The only thing it damaged was Dray's and KD's relationship, it didn't damage the success of the franchise.

Googling is easy stupid :mjlol:

You don’t need to be wordy to win arguments Gil. Proved you wrong in under a paragraph :mjlol:

"I mean, your teammate talked to you that way, you think about it a bit," he said. "But ... we talked about it, but definitely [it was a factor], for sure, I'm not going to lie about i
