That's what makes me laugh

This dude at work was going at me for having an iPhone when I could have had an S7. He was saying Apple is just a cult, etc. He was saying this whilst he was decked out in Nike running gear Android phone and watch. I'm like wtf , you're just as culpable to brands as I am!

Never got the whole argument from Android fans. We all still purchasing items from one manufacturer one way or another


But on another note, yeah Samsung are in a shyt load of business. To be honest I'd rather be in their position than Apple's. If the iPhone has a prolonged down turn in business then Apple's profits will take a huge hit. At least Samsung can recoup in other areas. But then again Apple is like top 3 profitable companies for the past 5 or so years, so they have a MASSIVE war chest and can literally go into any market they want to right now.

u studied a bit about samsung's rise in school

in korea, samsung is known as a chae bol which like a conglomerate

the korean government essentially allowed samsung to break every single rule (in the usa they got laws against monopolies and fair business practice etc) to allow samsung to grow and dominate the market. the korean government figured that samsung would help to bring the country out of 3rd world status.

and with no laws restricting its growth, and with the full support of the government, samsung grew rapidly in the 80s and 90s and to the present.

there are still many ppl in korea that believe samsung actually runs the government, and samsung has its hand in all governmental policy
