A lot of my friends do this a lot, and go way overboard with it, some of it is really just petty and bitter, like I don't really feel either way about it, esp. if it's just someone working a normal job, or having kids, whatever.

Sometimes it's some funny shyt, like the douche cool guy, (who you were friends with) losing his mind on ectascy and becoming even dumber. But, when one of my boys comes with some story like 'I saw ____ working at (random restaurant) fukk THAT bytch, she thought she was so much better then everyone else'. I was like, she went to college, graduated, and is living at home, working a temp job, it's not that serious. You still live at home too lol. And didn't even graduate.

People who I wasn't friends with, or wasn't involved with, just paid them no attention, they hardly existed then, and they exist even less now, to me. i am always down to her some funny stories or gossip about whoever, but just bringing people down for no reason, or for some perceived slight in fukking high school 8 years ago let that shyt go, it's unhealthy.

:manny: That's how it is sometimes.

I had 6 F's one marking period in HS, then had a 4.0 my first two years in college & I go to a good school. Looking back on it, you have to really really TRY to get straight F's :shaq: :youngsabo: I'd probably be at Princeton right now if I applied myself in high school :bryan:

I think being the lame/loser/not really popular type, helps you more in the long term.

a lot of people don't know that. Being low key and focus on what's important is what's important towards a person's development. It humbles them and makes them work harder when they still young.

No sense on being THAT NI CCA only to end up being fat, broke, baby mammas, and stagnant just 6 years after HS ends.

I was mad low key in HS and made sure that I didn't end up being:trash: cause my older brother and his friends pointed out real life examples of legitimate fukk ups.

idk, its real bittersweet if you ask me... i'm at that point in life where i think it's really startin to show, who's made/makin somethin of themself and who didn't. i feel proud to know i'm one of the only ones makin it, but at the same time it hurts to know i'm one of the ONLY ones that makin it... i can honestly count on one hand how many nikkas i know from high school thats a success. seen a cat last week at the barbershop, i'm up there that fresh cut at graduation the next day, this nikka was tryna be presentable for an interview with home depot :wow: i went to hs out in the burbs too... thats the shyt that make me worry about our community :to:

Word up.....out of my old high school crew, only me & another dude made it out of our city. It's depressing to know that eventhough we all talked about doing whatever we had to do to not getting trapped in our city, only a few of us actually did it. Two weeks ago, I went to visit my nikka Reke. shyt was sad. We chopped it up like it was old times but, when the visit was over, I realized I was gearing up to go back to school while he's counting down the days to summer 2014 :sadcam: :sadbron: We used to ball every saturday at the Y growing up but, went in entirely different directions after HS :manny:

Basically everybody in my graduating class except for me and my close friends just got so many L's handed to them its not funny. We were the misfits/nerdy kids of course. I dont laugh at their downfall, but i always get the line, "Wow, youre doing so well".

I was kind of a big deal in HS :takedat:

Still Winning :win:

I played Sports and all but I was still real cool with the nerds. I was on the Debate team and pretty cool with everybody except for the Goth kids and a few Rednecks but I wasn't never really on no bullying type shyt so I doubt its alot of people who would WANT to see me doing bad.

Well maybe a few hoes :lolbron:

I was popular......and I am now successful(still in college but I get good grades, have a nice internship, travel, etc)

Some people peak too early, some people are naturally popular due to having social grace.

It seem mostly Athletes and Popular girls have L's now. The Athletes didn't think about every other school having good(are sometimes great) players and now they are red shirted or tried to act hard and flunked out(yes athletes do flunk out if they are not on the main team), and the "Hot" girls....well you already know that story.....

:sadbron:Yeah, and they came from good two parent homes. shyt like that really worries me about how we are in order to gain social acceptance to the wrong people.

But what year you graduated from HS? Cause what year your class graduated has a lot to do with it.
