lol, so much misinformation. I was diagnosed at a young age when I was an athlete and at peak shape. Losing weight works for some, but for many it can be a misfire of certain brain functions or a collapse of certain airway muscles. But it can be deadly. Wear your mask or some go through a painful surgery to open the airway more. I use a mask and it doesn't bother me at all. Its not loud at all unless you put the mask over your ear. When wearing it, it should be silent. Mine uses water for humidity. If you wear it, you won't believe how much of a difference there is from an energy standpoint. I was perpetually tired and sleepy before. If you're lucky you'll only need the nasal pillow. But I have a full mask.
It doesn't blow air all night. It creates pressure that holds your airway open so you can breathe. The most interesting thing of all to me are my dreams. Pre-mask and even when I fall asleep or nap without it, I have had the same few types of dreams my entire life. Can't remember class schedule, being forced impossibly gigantic roller coasters, abandoned amusement park, 2-a-days start next week and I'm out of shape, or drive on a bridge that runs into the water. MAny of these can be really bad or scary. As soon as I sleep with the mask, dreams are always different, never bad. Always interesting. Never read much about dreams, but I guess there is an association.
