same here. I dont even have a gym membership. why waste the bread when I can exercsie outside for free? its simply mind over matter. and I live in a cold weather city. but I am running over 20 miles a week regardless. I just dress for the weather and hit the lakefront.

I notice that too among men and women from my hometown. A lot of people have fallen off. It's like damn homie, in high school you was the man...

They're always like: dang girl, you look good. You ain't even got no kids do you?

I technically have gained weight since high school, but it was good weight because I was very thin.

Did you put on muscle? I trained with this one girl who freaked out because she was losing fat and still gaining weight. I had to explain to her that her body was just getting overall more athletic and that she shouldn't worry about the number on the scale so much as her track times and how many reps she could do.

Anyway, good on you, because I'm almost certain it was athletic weight you put on.

i remember all these bytches who wouldnt even holla at a nikka hit me up on FB talking about :takedat: u looking good...

I check out their profile see they somewhere out in ohio or some bum fukk midwest state looking like little house on the prairie status...Nah for reals, most these bytches left Cali for some hick state. Im assuming they married some loser military man :heh:

Military guys dry up and get real thirsty real quick. It's kinda sad. My friend from grade school Erik is probably the only military guy I know that won't lower his standards. Gotta respect a man that should be thirsty, but isn't. I used to bring him by my school to introduce him to hot college girls while he was back from deployment to introduce him to some hot sorority girls.

:takedat:

I'm trying to convince him to get into the movie industry with me so he can keep partying with me and my friends, but yeah, he's still got a lot of time on his enlistment left.

:snoop:

This is what happens to many, many poor military saps. I just feel badly for them sometimes because they probably had some fantasy about being some great war hero and having a beautiful and loyal (fukking lol) wife waiting for him at home, and he'd come home happy from heroically serving his country. Nope. Too many guys I know in the military got fukked over by both the military and their wives. Not for me.

Personally i don't know how I would survive mentally without daily exercise. I only do it purely because it's a great way to relieve stress and bump music while I do it.

:salute:

Nothing feels more boss than getting a good workout in without professional equipment, just working with your surroundings.

I'm not even 4 years removed from high school and I'm seeing former peers that are :flabbynsick: I can only imagine what some of the older posters witness

yessir. I finished high school in 1996, and college in 2000. I weighed like 177 when I finished college, and I weigh like 179 now. and that's not from having high metabolism. its just from having a little discipline.

whenever I go on FB, and see cats I went to high school with, the level of :flabbynsick:ness is off the charts. real talk.

yup. I'm in better shape than most cats that have gym memberships. cuz the gym's proximity doesn't limit my exercising. since i'm a runner, I can do it wherever as long as my clothes are packed. sometimes, I run by my job cuz of time constraints. sometimes, by my parents cuz they neighborhood is safe at night. and I like to run in the city and by the lake on the weekends for the most part.

Nice. Early in the morning I run a few miles down to the end of the pier and shadow box for a little then run back. I used to want to box professionally when I was a kid, so I get to pretend I'm actually doing it while training my ass off. It's good motivation with the right music.

to tell the truth, I think running kinda works ur arms a little due to the fact that ur holding ur arms up the entire time like a boxer. and that gets tiring when ur doing over 5 miles each time out.

Myself. fukk 12(1)!
I went to my 10 year HS reunion about 3 years ago, and some of the people were on Klump-status, like, gargantuan for no damn reason.

I'm like "It's only been 10 years?!? How did you let yourself go like that?" :mindblown:

:scusthov:

Are you working out any other time during the week besides the one day at the gym? That once a week ain't really helping much if you're :flabbynsick: the other 6 days.

My sched is fairly busy (work full-time and teach a dance class), but I make sure I get at least a few runs in (even if you only do 20 minutes or so) if I can't make it to the gym.

You gotta make time, breh.

first off, no homo. But besides me you wouldn't be able to recognize any of my crew from HS. All these fools aged like milk :snoop:

All of them are 30 lbs overweight, bald, just flabby and sickly.

One of my boys I haven't seen in a while just posted a pic of himself on FB and I thought it was one of those fat app photos :snoop:

God damn I'm so glad I hate the gym regularly and eat healthy.

put them breh's on your workout regimen B. help em out
