shyt dame years back was selling anything he had rocafella related on eBay lol

the only thing he got that’s worth something is his 1/3 of RD. that cac probably wouldn’t known came had that if he didn’t blab so much lol
It's just wild to imagine seeing how other rappers or rap industry people that were successful move.

Either Jay and Biggs, + all the other execs at the roc carried him like a child or his j's have been laced with something else to be completely broke

People on here just be typing to type, lol. And don’t know sh*t about how this works.

Dame has been holding on to the shares because he's felt they're worth way more than what Jay was offering before. Hov didn't want Dame selling them to an outsider, so he offered to cop them directly from Dame. Back then, Dame said he knows what they're worth so he's not selling them at a discount. He's accumulated some debt that he hasn't been able to cover. So typically, when you don’t have the cash, they go after your viable assets.

This is a very viable asset. So he can get the kinda bread he'd like for his shares, cover his debt, and most likely, still be able to pocket something once he's out of the red. Whatever he gets for the shares themselves will be way more than what his current debt is, that he's being asked to settle. So this is definitely a W for Dame. It's just sad that he's in a position where he's being forced to do it, and it's not by choice.
youre saying the court forcing him to liquidate is a W!? :dahell:

According to the court filing, Dame does not oppose the move. However, Jay-Z and Kareem "Biggs" Burke, who own the other two-thirds of Roc-a-Fella, have pushed back against the sale. Despite the opposition, the judge signed off on the order, allowing the sale to take place. Roc-a-Fella has 21 days from the date of the order to turn over a certificate representing Dame's ownership in the company. Dame has 10 days from the receipt

"Within 180 days of the U.S. Marshal’s receipt of the Dash Ownership Interest and any corresponding certificate, the Marshal shall sell the Dash Ownership Interest at public auction," the court filing reads.

One thing i noticed about dame

When the dirty shyt happened and they tried to spin it like he sonned rza like rza didnt get paid for odb lol.

When everyone left dame hanging. No more industry friends to leech off. Only divine came to his podcast and did an interview for him. DIVINE. who NEVER has done an interview fukking EVER until the showtime one. Thought that was solid of him.

Wu tang the gods looking out for the little guy.

Frfr though, how are his Roc shares not worth a lot more than he owed from that lawsuit? If he too broke to actually pay, he should have sold a portion to pay this debt and kept the rest. You get pennies on the dollar for anything they seize from you

overpaying for a 1/3 of reasonable doubt is a terrible business decision

that album only holds weight to jay & Biggs

that dude probably would just give it to jay & Biggs for a lil more than the courts decsion

Are you slow? Its not Reasonable Doubt, its rocafella records. He never sold his share. You confusing him selling Rocawear. Rocafella contains Kanyes catalogue...Jay Z's..Beans... all that shyt.
