Man I’ve been saying this for years regarding Dame. My thing with Dame is the bad advice he’s contributed to the culture, how he’s convinced people that, yea, being a struggling boss is better than being part of something you don’t ‘own’
And there’s a ton of street raised nggas that think just like him. Won’t get a 9-5 bc ‘you gotta wear a tie’, or bc gasp you gotta work with white people. Or the romanticizing of running a business when you can end up working longer, harder, and make LESS money. But hey, you da boss

A lot of what Dame says is just a way to rationalize his position to himself. His ego is incapable of taking an L. He is very much like Trump and Kanye. They’ll burn down their lives in order to protect their fragile egos from facing reality.

Dame’s ego is what keeps happening. Both lawsuits had the same m.o. He initially works with them to direct or produce a film that they wrote. Then of course he be on his bullshyt and is mad unprofessional and useless on set so the relationship falls apart. And afterwards he thinks the project was his and tries to proceed forward with it by changing the name or some shyt but it’s still the same underlying IP.
They sue him and win because they are the actual creative that wrote the book, script, etc. Dame is Dame in court and pisses the judge off. Dame loses the case and must pay hundreds of thousands.
