Quite honestly the only Dallas rapper I have ever liked was The D.O.C. and some people think he's from the west coast because he was on Ruthless and was down with NWA.

Breh... 2 out of the 15 most violent neighborhoods in the entire continental United States are located in Houston.

1 neighborhood (sunnyside) is rated at #6 only behind a few hoods in Detroit and the Chi.

Not one hood in Dallas or anywhere else in Texas made the top 25. :usure:
dallas has always had the worst crime going back 20+ years.

Houston is "get robbed central"...

People from Dallas go to Houston because Houston is bigger, more opportunities, and has a defined music scene...
Please don't act like you know about Texas...

wait, this nikka from Garland :deadrose: That's not even Dallas. That's like a nikka from Conroe claiming Houston.
I didn't know garland was popping like that because its so small, he would've been better off claiming nawf dallas...

Dallas folks. what happen to Pookie and Mr. Lucie? those were the hardest nikkas out of Dallas.
K-Roc started that sound with Kevin A & lucci & pookie albums followed suit. Everyone thought they were about to blow after lucci album came out & he even dropped out of HS. They still drop music but they don't have that "sound" that made them popular. The dancing & jigging sound took over, from my dougie, south dallas swag, d-town boogie, etc... From the outside it's hard to take dudes with serious lyricism serious when the city is viewed as that. Twisted Black is a true MC that's claims FT.Worth but he isn't getting out anytime soon.
Tum Tum and Big Tuck were the best thing that happened to Dallas, but idk what the fukk happened to them and the rest of DSR
Tuck's purple hulk album has aged well in my opinon. But DSR signed with universal & put out two horrible albums from tum & tuck & their popularity faded quick like the houston fad. Also if you go back & listen to DSR's music now, it's beyond cringe worthy.

Yeah you see that style a lot. But it's usually brothas between the ages of 14-23. I don't know too many grown men with careers & families rocking that cut.

I'm going to end my point by saying Dallas has more SAFE ZONES...
There are clearly defined areas in Dallas where you are SUPER SAFE...
