I dont think thabo/baze at the 3 is that big of an issue.

Thabo looks better than I expected. Dennis and horford looked confident stroking from 3. Korver will get his legs back.

Also, with horford popping 3s now, its gonna open up the middle for our speedster point guards. Replicating what pero did for the spacing without all the bonehead plays in between

Splitter makes us big, im excited. No more brook lopez types bullying us.

Hardaway still trying to process the system, but I like his potential as a gunner. He will put games away with dagger 3s eventually

Teague is just so good now.

I just don't think were gonna get a lot out of the 3 position. If Thabo could be a 10 ppg, 3 & D guy then maybe I'd be ok with it, but is he even that? He'll play defense and be GREAT at it, but he's not a threat to score. Neither is BAZE. This is a perimeter oriented league with guard/forward play dominating and we don't have a guy who can really play at a high level at that position. Mind you, I'm not concerned about the regular season, I'm more concerned about the playoffs and ultimately stopping LeBron

I feel what your saying. I felt the same way about demarre last yr prior to the season. As far as the slashing is concerned I think those 2 along with holiday will be up for it. Holiday has the edge shooting wise tho.

The bron thing you mentioned was my biggest concern and I feel we have ample bodies to throw at him now defensively. I mean after demarre went down baze got bullied and millsap tried to check him at half court. Thabo will be most effective against him, but now we can sprinkle in some holiday, millsap (with tiago and horford in), and even a little bit of this slimmer mike scott.

Offensively I dont see much of a drop off with all the firepower we added.
