Don't get me wrong, DMC did a lot of good things here, I just think he gets hyped up like he was an all time great player we lost. He was a very solid player who did a lot of things well in our system and we do miss his contributions but we gotta remember he was the only starter who WASNT an All Star last yr. Outside of Millsap the rest of the starters have regressed for various reasons
He was an elite 3/D guy with the size to defend Lebron, Melo and Durant. He might have overall just been solid but his impact was much greater than his abilities and that's what we are now missing.

Baze and Kyle probably wouldnt start for any other contending team. Facts
Triple Facts. Maybe Kyle could start for Cleveland but that's about it. Bazemore is not a starting for contending teams. He's like Covington, you start him when you ain't shyt. He can stat pad and make everyone talk about him in trade boards but in reality, he's not that good.

Al and Sap shyt AND coach Bud need to realize their value is in being blue collar lunchpail players. You cant turn Milsap into Carmelo and expect him to win games like that. Al needs to get his big ass in the paint. Let Teague or Korver run off a screen or something because they were the only ones who were hot.

True. LAC denied Korver getting the ball, but Teague should've had the ball with a chance to create. And I agree with you, Millsap shouldn't get the ball trying to be a superstar but for this team, he's our star. He's our marquee guy. Ideally, he's the #3 guy on a championship team, he shouldn't get the ball twice in crunch time and try to win games, that's just not fair to him and how he plays

Baze and Kyle probably wouldnt start for any other contending team. Facts

True. And Baze has played well, but he's a high energy bench guy who can come in and give you 10-15 a night. He's stretched a little thin guarding SF's bigger and stronger than him on a nightly basis, but he's not really a starter. Kyle, even tho he is playing better recently, is not a starting SG anymore.

The nikka is scared on offense, it's like shyt, I want my selfish Tim back from New York. That nikka gave you scoring, this nikka here plays good defense and gets to the line but it's nothing special.

It just makes you wonder why we traded our draft pick...I thought he was here to score, kinda like Jamal Crawford was or Lou Williams was for a few years ago. Not great defensively but could put the ball in the basket. I don't want THJR to be a defensive stopper b/c that's not his game and he's not helping us right now

We need to make some moves, I just don't think Teague or Dennis is the move to make. There has to be a way we can add a wing who can be good for us without trading someone important.

We're all level headed fans for the most part. So at this juncture, with roster uncertainty, poor play from key players, and not a title contender, who do y'all think we should acquire/move to improve the team?

He is without a doubt the best player on this team, but lets face it, he cant create his own shot. He can do everything else you need, but thats his flaw. There have been several times that Bud has forced the ball to him at the end of the game this season and i dont think it has worked once

Seeing how Dennis has played this season makes me nervous about trading Jeff...say what you want about Jeff, but when he's on and playing well he's an All Star PG. Dennis has stretches where I'm not sure if he cares about the rest of the team or getting guys involved. So I'm not sure you trade Jeff unless you get a starting SG/SF back. NYK doesn't have that so I'm not sure why we're talking to them

IDK. Maybe Joe Johnson gets a buyout and comes home. Maybe we make a trade for Rudy Gay. If we think we're beating CLE with Kent Bazemore on him they're crazy

The worst of Dennis is way worse than bad Jeff but Jeff don't give you what Dennis gives you when he's on. When Dennis is on. He's unstoppable.

If we can get someone like Gay for Splitter, that would be perfect. We need to look at trading picks + Splitter for a SF like Rudy Gay

When Dennis is on he changes the pace and dynamic of the game. He forces tempo and his energy level is super high. But I don't know how sustainable that is or how committed Dennis is to being that type of PG consistently.

I'm down to trade Jeff, but it's gotta be the right mix of guys we get back. Otherwise it's Dennis & Shelvin Mack as your PGs

We're not the type of team that's goin to attract big free agents that's already been established. And maximizing the talent of a bunch of good player can get us to the conference championship but that's about it. In order to elevate us to a champion franchise we have to draft a superstar. Look at Golden state and OKC they did it thru the draft. We just been committed to making the playoffs and that's it

Respectfully disagree with Rudy Gay, he's a #1 or 2 on a bad team. Yeah we lack scoring but his defensive lapses will have us frustrated

I say trade Splitter for a SF and throw Tavares in the fire as the backup Center.
