Why trade Teague when Schroder may wind up getting more money on the open market?
Because Teague has much higher trade value while Dennis is close to him in impact and is more talented. Teague is just a more legit PG
He can be top 5 PG. He's our most talented player. He must become more consistent and more disciplined.

Teague has reached his ceiling. And he brings it maybe 1 out of every 3 or 4 games. Dennis plays hard every possession and gets the team involved better.

He can be a good, solid player. Top 5 PG is really stretching it, IMO.
We trade Horford for picks, and this season is effectively over. Also, we'd be taking away a need and further depleting front court depth, so IS there a rash of quality big men to be had in the draft? Even if Horford's money comes off the books, how do you replace him? Whiteside?
